Legality & disclaimer
Last updated: 3 July 2026
PalestineAuction is a simple, non-commercial listings board that lets people advertise second-hand belongings for sale to raise funds. It does not take payment, hold stock, verify listings, or act as a party to any sale. Every transaction is arranged and completed directly between a buyer and a seller.
Not affiliated with any proscribed organisation
PalestineAuction is not connected to, and is not "Palestine Action" or any other group. It is not a vehicle for, and must not be used to support, any organisation that is proscribed or banned under the law of any jurisdiction. Using this board to raise or move funds for a proscribed organisation may be a criminal offence. Do not do it.
What may be listed
- Only goods that the seller legally owns and has the right to sell.
- Only goods that are legal to sell and to transfer to a buyer.
- Nothing stolen, counterfeit, restricted, or otherwise unlawful to possess or sell.
Where a listing is offered "on behalf of" someone else (for example, a person in prison), the person creating the listing confirms they have that person's authority to sell the item and to receive the proceeds on their behalf.
Seller responsibility
Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings, for the goods themselves, for any tax or reporting obligations, and for complying with all applicable laws. Buyers are responsible for satisfying themselves about an item before paying. PalestineAuction gives no warranty about any item, seller, or buyer.
Privacy
This is a static site with no accounts, no database, and no tracking. Listings show only the first part of a postcode, never a full address. When you use "Buy now or make an offer", your message (amount, email address, and any note) is delivered via Formspree, a third-party form service, so it can be forwarded to the seller. Nothing else is collected or stored by this site.
No legal advice
This page is general information, not legal advice. If you are unsure whether listing or buying something is lawful in your situation, get proper advice before proceeding.
Reporting a listing
If you believe a listing is unlawful, please contact the operator of this board so it can be removed.
